About Zanzibar
Zanzibar is comprised by two (2) main sister Islands known as Unguja and Pemba. Both Islands are surrounded by fifty small Islands in which most of them are un-inhabitants. Zanzibar has covered an area of approximately 2462 square kilometres where-by Unguja appears to be bigger in size than it’s sister island Pemba.
The Islands are highly fertile with several agricultural resources. Zanzibar keeps its greenish all year around. The land is flat to the most parts of the country and its highest point is approximately 120 metres above the sea level.
The weather of Zanzibar is warm and humidity but the condition remains more comfortable since there is sea breezes pushing inland. Coolest is counted as the warmest while February is the coolest.
How To Get Zanzibar?
By Air:
It is very easy to get to Zanzibar since there are International Airlines land in Zanzibar such as; Ethiopian Airline, Kenya Airways, Qatar Airways Or otherwise you can land in Dar es Salaam by Royal Dutch KLM, Swiss Air then fly to Zanzibar by charter flights which are regularly fly in between.
By Sea:
Ferry boats provide regular services between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam , the journey takes about two hours. For those who land in Dar es Salaam and would like to experience the Indian ocean for Zanzibar channel can submit that the services are reliable!
